Private Lessons
Private dog training lessons for puppy and adult manners or behavior modification are a convenient option for busy New Yorkers.
When a Doggie Academy trainer comes to your home you will receive a unique lesson plan based on your needs and goals. When appropriate, we can conduct lessons at our training studio in Park Slope (10 Whitwell Place). Lessons can be scheduled at your convenience as we offer daytime, evening and weekend time slots. Lessons are one hour and once you are a client you are welcome to contact us with follow-up questions anytime.
You do not need to commit to a package to schedule your first lesson. NYC dog training packages are valid for one year from purchase.

Private Agility Lessons
We offer private one hour and ½ hour agility lessons at the Brooklyn Dog Training Center with Frankie, Sarah and Amanda. This is a great option for dogs who find it difficult to work in a group class, handlers that want personalized attention or teams that want to try some agility without committing to a full course. 1/2 hour lessons are recommended for dogs new to the sport.
Day Training
If you would like your puppy or dog to have a training experience while you are at work, then Day Training is an excellent addition to your training program. Our trainer will meet with your dog and work on behaviors that can range from basics (sit, down, leave-it, counter surfing, etc.), to advanced obedience (polite leash walking, distraction training in public, etc.), to behavioral work (leash aggression, crate training, resource guarding, etc.). Your trainer will email you with details of each lesson. This service is only offered to Doggie Academy private or group training clients.
