After a trip to J.J. Byrne park this weekend, I’ve found out that the new dog run is not actually open yet. I have to assume that they are waiting for the ribbon cutting on Wednesday. As for now, even though it looks finished, it’s all locked up. Kids were using the skate park, so I felt a little bit like complaining.

I’m very excited for the new park. You can’t tell from the photo, but there is a double gate at the entrance. The run is also divided into two sizable lanes, the one on the left is slightly larger and “L” shaped (I assume that one’s for the big dogs). There are also benches lining the run. It is going to feel luxurious in there after what we’ve been using.
