Operation Spoil Charleston is continuing. This morning we went to the dog run to visit Jamie. When Charlie was younger, he used to go to the park with her three times a week to play with all his friends (and come home good and tired). He looooooooooooooves Jamie. When he saw her today he immediately perked up and ran to her to say hi. He then jumped right into the fun with all the other dogs. I was thrilled to see him running around and playing as though there’s nothing wrong with him. Charlie even managed to eat treats from Bob.

Bob is a great guy who brings a sack of biscuits to the dog run with him. The dogs all know the drill and line up at the fence to receive their treats. That’s them in the photo (Charlie’s wearing the orange collar).

I’m also adding a short video of Charleston enjoying dog park fun. It gets grainy, but in it Jamie’s walking away to get water for the dogs and Charleston is following the pack, tail wagging. He even manages to get in a quick hump! That’s my guy.

Vinny’s mother has found a place that can deliver twenty 40 pound bags of crushed ice. We’re planning on having our snow experiment next week sometime. I’ll let you know how it goes.
